Throughout her career Sandra Porter has been engaging audiences as an opera singer, actress, lecturer, teacher, concert artist and voice coach. Added to her work as a singer and actress in television and radio, her international solo singing career has taken her to the major opera houses, concert halls and festivals throughout the UK, Europe and the Far and Middle East.

Sandra is a regular visiting lecturer in Vocal Style and Performance at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama where, in addition she often holds seminars and group work sessions on vocal presentation.

Her voice work as a singing teacher and speech voice coach is enriched from years of performing and teaching experience.  She teaches people from all walks of life: professional opera singers, actors, dancers, business men and women, politicians, vicars, teachers, people with speech difficulties - anyone interested in finding their voice or in presenting a better one.

Though her work incorporates advanced presentation techniques in in-house training to large groups of business professionals, Sandra particularly enjoys being able to help the individual who, either for business or personal reasons, is struggling with speech and confidence issues.

Sandra shows very quickly how to manage nerves and produce an unmannered, clear and relaxed delivery that will instantly engage audiences. With a few fundamental changes in breathing, posture, pacing, tone and focus she teaches the tools to enable any public speaking. Whatever the situation - formal and grand, or small and informal, the speaker’s real personality shines through rather than one paralysed by nerves.
